25th Anniversary celebrations at the Birmingham Buddhist Centre

By lokabandhu on Tue, 25 Sep, 2012 - 14:33Sunday 30th September 2012 sees the 25th Anniversary celebrations at Triratna’s Birmingham Buddhist Centre. All are welcome to this festive celebration to mark 3 years of building refurbishments and 25 years of Birmingham Buddhist Centre activities. Here’s the programme:

2pm onwards Arrive and assemble on forecourt

2.30pm Ribbon-cutting ceremony
Guided tours of the Centre
Refreshments with a selection of delicious treats

3.45pm Talks:
  • The history of the Birmingham Buddhist Centre by Satyapala
  • The future of the Triratna

Outreach Co-ordinator sought for Birmingham Buddhist Centre

“We are looking for an Order Member to join the Centre Team to promote and lead a new phase of the Centre’s outreach work.

This is a supported position for an initial one-year period, ideally from January 2013. Future years will be subject to a review and continued funding.
