Out now: ‘I Hear Her Words: An Introduction to Women in Buddhism’

From Windhorse Publications on Fri, 18 Jun, 2021 - 13:00

As a female student and practitioner of Buddhism, at times I feel frustrated by the underrepresentation of women in Buddhist texts and iconography. Data protection law in the UK and many other countries strictly protects the privacy of the individual and restricts the ways in which organisations may use or share information about individuals. You’ll notice this every time a website or an organisation asks your permission to hold...

Dear Order Members and friends,

Last month one of my deputies, Amrutdeep, wrote from his perspective about the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic in India. 16 Order members and over 35 Dhammamitras died in India in the last couple of months and it’s still pretty grim; if you’d like to help, you can read more about some of the ways in which you can give here.

Its poignant that over the past...

Over the six weeks of this course we will explore this inspiring trajectory through...
