Scylla & Charybdis - Reflections on the rise of Direct Pointing in the Order

This paper summarises some reflections and concerns I have about the rise of DP-practice (Direct Pointing) in the Order.  

I discuss the many links DP-practitioners have with the Advaita community, and contextualise this interest in Advaita in terms of a dualistic swing away from Bhavana in the Order.  I also question the nature of the outcomes of DP-practice.

Dear Order members,

Details for the funeral arrangements of Dharmacarini Amarasraddha are as follows.
 
The ceremony before the cremation will take place Wednesday 22nd of Juli at 14.30 in the assembly hall of the crematorium Moscowa, Waterbergseweg 18, Arnhem.
 
After the ceremony there will be an opportunity to meet in the restaurant Trix the Menthenberg, Schelmseweg 1a, Arnhem, which is in the vicinity of Moscowa.
