I wanted to share some of our fundraising efforts here at the Bristol Buddhist Centre, with the hope of giving inspiration to others. We have created a 'Bhante's 90th Birthday' display, including a time-line of his life so far, various pictures of Bhante, a display of some of his books, some best loved Bhante quotes, plus an area for people to share how the Dharma has impacted on their life. We also have a 'Bhante Birthday Bowl' for people to make donations, and are talking about the appeal in our classes. What are you doing in your Centre or local Sangha? Please share here!
