The 2 days of study during the College meetings are often the highlight for many College members. This time Subhuti led study on the Bodhicitta and in this interview he explains his reasons why he choose to lead study on that topic.

Maitreyi talks about her vision of leading a longer retreat at Akashavana for some of those she has privately ordained - a vision she brought into being in October of this year (2016).

Jnanasuri and Karunamaya (who supports Jnanasuri) talk about their work helping over 800 women in India to prepare for ordination. They mention the  possibility of developing a women’s retreat centre and also some of the difficulties they face in their work.

Here at Adhisthana for the Preceptors’ College meeting, Yashosagar and Amoghasiddhi talk about the recent celebrations for the 60th anniversary of Dr Ambedkar’s conversion to Buddhism with several hundred thousand of his followers. They mention the conference for the International Network of Engaged Buddhists and talk about the significance of Ambedkar for those outside of India and the request of the Indian Area Council to have a module on Dr Ambedkar in the Dharma Training Course for Mitras.
