Worldly Winds - Praise and Blame

In this talk Viryanaga leads us through an exploration of praise and blame. He uses examples from the suttas, and from his own experience, to show how these worldly winds are usually related to actions. Viryanaga discusses how it is not enough simply to resist the winds, but how we need to transform them. The session ends with a led reflection. This talk was given at the Croydon Buddhist Centre as part of our regular Saturday Sangha morning.

Dear Order Members,

We are very sad to inform you that Dharmachari Bodhana died around 1:15 am on May 19th, at the age of 69 years old, after battling a recent quickly developing cancer. Bodhana was ordained in September 2007 at Aryaloka Buddhist Center by his private preceptor, Vidhuma, and public preceptor, Nagabodhi. His yidam was Amoghasiddhi.

His wife was with him and his family has been with him and supporting him through these last days. His close friend of decades,...
