It is with a real sense of loss that we tell you of the death of our dear friend Kamaladevi. She died peacefully in her sleep sometime in the early hours of Wednesday 1st December aged 79. She had been suffering from a sudden loss of memory and vitality since August, and although she had declined further in recent days her death was unexpected.

Dear Sangha brothers and sisters,

I am very sad to inform you that Dhammachari Kusaladipa (Kusaladeep) passed away on 27th November 2021 around 11pm. He was hospitalized for kidney failure and was on dialysis for a few weeks.

He was 67 years old and was ordained on 25th May 2014. Dhammachari Amoghasiddhi was his private preceptor and public ordination was given by Dhammachari Chandrashil.

He has contributed his many years to establishing the retreat centre at Bihali Amaravati and was a chapter convener. He was very polite and had...
