Early this afternoon at around 13.15 Central European Summer Time, Achalabandhu died in the Benjamin Franklin hospital in Berlin following a long illness. Since Friday evening he received visits from a lot of Order Members as well as friends, although he was mostly unconscious. I visited him yesterday evening for about three hours. Achalabandhu’s health has seriously deteriorated and he is now in the Benjamin Franklin Hospital in Berlin. Karunada and Dharmapriya visited him yesterday, and I will be seeing him today. I understand that his doctors are unsure whether he will survive the weekend. Please think of him with Metta and Karuna.

This is to tell you that Dhivati died peacefully on the morning of 19th April 2015. Her daughters Liz and Julia were with her. Her son Bill was away, unfortunately. She’d been in a care home for just a short while and had said to friends that she was ready to go. She was 90.
