Arrival and Convention Beginning:
The convention will start on Sunday, 19 July with supper at 6:30 p.m.
Please do NOT arrive before 3:00 ! (Our rental agreement begins at 3:00.)

Nearest Airports: Berlin-Tegel and Berlin-Schönefeld

Nearest Railway Station: Fürstenberg (Havel)

There is a direct hourly service from Berlin Hbf. Just in front of the little station in
Fürstenberg is a little park with the bus stop (marked by a sign with a big letter H).
From there one takes the 517 bus or a taxi (033093 - 39134 - but they probably do not speak much English).

Connections from the central railway station (= Berlin Hbf or Hauptbahnhof) on Sunday 19th July:

You have to buy your ticket before getting on the train!
You can get a through ticket (train and bus) for €9.50, which is also valid for local transport in Berlin to the Hauptbahnhof. (A group of up to 5 travelling together(!) can get a „Berlin-Brandenburg-Ticket“ for €29, or 31 if bought over the counter at a station.) You can buy these tickets from vending machines in the Underground or railway stations, which usually have an English-language option. The Berlin-Brandenburg Ticket can also be bought online from www.bahn.de, which has an English-language option.

Chartered bus between Berlin and Schlüßhof OM

We have chartered a bus both for the beginning of the Convention and for the end.
Book it if you want a place!

1/ Going to the Convention. The bus will leave our Centre (= Buddhistisches Tor Berlin, Grimmstr. 11C, 10967 Berlin-Kreuzberg – *www.buddhistisches-tor-berlin.de ) at 3:00 p.m. (15:00) on Sunday, 19 July.

N.B.: The German Triratna Women’s Convention (OMs, mitras, Friends),
will be taking place at the Centre over the weekend of 17 to 19 July. It will end at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday 19th July.
Please do not go to the Centre during this event: please wait until at lease 1:30 on Sunday afternoon!!

2/ Returning from the Convention. The bus will leave the Convention site at 12:45 on Saturday, 25 July and return to our Centre in Berlin.
The journey will probably take about 2 – 2 ½ hours.

3/ Cost of each journey. The bus ride will cost €10 each way, to be paid in cash before the trip. Please have enough cash for this!

4/ Booking the Bus.We need to know as exactly as possible how many people will be using the bus, so you need to make a firm booking for each (!) direction you want to travel, if you want to come!!

The Berlin Order members are justly proud of the lovely Centre they dedicated in
September 2012. If you would like a little tour of it, come to the Centre at or after
2:00 p.m. (14:00) on Sunday, 19 July, i.e. an hour before the bus departs.

Ground floor is ready now to move existing main branch of Aryaloka Computer Education from 136, Laghuwetan Colony, NGP to Indora, nr Shahid Smarak, Kamathi road Nagpur which is just 1 km away. It’s a very sad to leave behind all the sweet and bitter 14 yrs memories of ups and down, successes and failure, sometime boring, sometime exciting and sometime deeply frustrating and most of the time “waiting to see what next comes up” . The next phase of Aryaloka Computer Education to expand the branches in other states of India. First branch we have opened up in the month of Jan-15 at Raipur, capital of Chattisgarh state. Mr Satish who is ex-Nagaloka student, completed his further Computer basic to advance courses at ACE Nagpur branch. He also trained under experience staff of Aryaloka and learned the skills how to run Computer training centre. Now he is a centre coordinator of ACE Raipur....
