The most recent ordinations took place at Akashavana on 11th September 2015. Alongside Parami and Maitreyi, both long-standing members of the Preceptors’ College, Punyamala was there to conduct her first public ordination.

Doctor’s and Officer’s Maitreya Group from Ambernath led by Dhammacharini Taranavita visit Saddhamma Pradeep Retreat Center on Occasion of Anagarika Dhammapal Jayanti. Around 60 people with children were present, group was address by Dh. Ratnashil.

In Evening Dh. Atapchitta has given introduction of Anagarika Dhammapal to Community members.

On Saturday, 26 Sept at 2:30 p.m. Sona will conduct the Public ordination of Douglas Hastings at Adhisthana. Sona will conduct his private ordination on Friday, 25 Sept at 8 p.m. 

Douglas Hastings was previously ordained by Sona in 1996 at Guhyaloka and given the name Ajitasena. For various reasons he resigned from the Order 2009. Just over three years ago he requested ordination again and recently the College of Public preceptors were able to agree to him...
