Meet Kshitigarbha, Bodhisattva of compassion without limits. This mythic figure is able to fully encounter the most painful areas of experience, and yet can respond with compassion and clarity. In this talk Maitrisiddhi explores our habitual responses to suffering, particularly anger and blame, and looks at how - with clarity - we too could respond more creatively.

This is the final talk in our series on Transforming Self and World through looking at the sevenfold puja.
In this talk Vijayasri looks at the culmination of the sevenfold puja by exploring the Transference of merit and self-surrender section. She considers the importance of breaking our individual self view by working with others.
There is an opportunity to reflect on how we would wish to change the world and how we can do this. The talk finishes with a Transference of merit using the longer Bodhicaryavatara text and by chanting the Avalokitesvara mantra.
This talk was given at the Croydon Buddhist centre in July 2016 as part of our regular Saturday morning Sangha class.
