I am very happy to announce the public ordination of the former Kaido Kangur from Tartu, Estonia at Budakoda, Tallinn today, Sunday 1st May 2022.

Kaido becomes Shantamani, he who is a peaceful jewel.

Vajragupta was the Private Preceptor, and Saddhaloka was the Public Preceptor

Here’s translations into Estonian of some basic Triratna Buddhist Community texts and ceremonies:

the Three-fold Puja, the Dedication Ceremony, the Seven-fold Puja (including the Refuges and Precepts), and the Tiratana Vandana, and then all four texts in one pdf, and finally refuges and precepts.

First ordination of 2013

By lokabandhu on Fri, 11 Jan, 2013 - 20:13Padmavajra writes with news of Triratna’s first ordination of 2013 - in Estonia! He says - “Dear Friends, I am delighted to be able to tell you that Taivo Org has been ordained today, Sunday 6th January at Budakoda, Triratna’s Buddhist centre in Tallinn, Estonia.

He is now known as Bodhikara, (the first ‘a’ is long) which means ‘One Who Cultivates Enlightenment’.

Saddhaloka is his Private Preceptor and I his Public Preceptor. With metta, Padmavajra”
