On April 8th 2017 Triratna Day was celebrated around the world as the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1967. We visit Sheffield for the Northern English celebration, Adhisthana, Dhanakosa in Scotland and Essen for the Western European events in Germany.
Buddhist Action Month is also happening in Essen, Germany. They’ve got a range of actions, ranging from cycling, themes at Sangha Nights the rationale of BAM, Compassion and Deep Ecology; the ethics of re-cycling; looking at our true values and priorities and ending with a shared vegan brunch feast!
