A sensitive exploration of the issues surrounding abortion and an introduction to Buddhist ethics, that begins with a short evocation of Amitabha. Throughout, Pasadini encourages reflections on the role of sexuality and the internal, external and cultural contexts within which women make the decision of what to do when faced with an unintended pregnancy. Her exploration ends with a rousing call to develop compassion and wisdom for ourselves and others facing ethical dilemmas.
Pasadini is part of Glasgow Buddhist Centre's spiritual leadership kula, is on the teaching team at Danakosa and worked for a number of years at a reproductive health clinic in the USA.
