Hi all,

I thought you would want to know that Joanna Macy, who I know is a great inspiration for many of us, is in hospital with pneumonia.  She is 95 now but apparently is fighting the infection.

Please think of her in your meditation, prayers, metta.

En Myriad Av Stjaernor-Padmasambhavas Symbolism

Guru, mystiker, demontämjare, traditionsgrundare, magiker, andlig vän… Padmasambhava var en av mästarna som tog Dharma från Indien till Tibet, där han än idag ses som “en andre Buddha”. Utöver värdet av hans livsgärning och undervisning för han med sig en oerhört rik symbolism och låter det arketypiska bryta igenom till oss. Under en dagretreat var det just med symbolspråket och i den arketypiska dimensionen av Padmasambhava vi uppehöll oss. Meditativt, rituellt och interaktivt bekantade vi oss med hans attribut och deras djupare betydelse: Vajran (åskviggen/diamanten). Kranieskålen fylld med odödlighetsnektar. Treuddsstaven. De tre lagren av hans dräkt. Den gamfjäderprydda hatten.

Dear Friends,

I am sorry to have to announce the resignation of Sanghadasa. I publicly ordained Sanghadasa on the Guhyaloka course in 1999. Surata is Sanghadasa’s private preceptor. Both of us have been aware of Sanghadasa’s situation for some time and we have accepted his resignation. I have written to Sanghadasa thanking him for his tremendous contribution to the Order and to wish him well.
