An opportunity to gather together in large numbers, immediately before the Centenary of Sangharakshita’s birth, with opportunities for study, meditation, ritual, talks and spending time together with friends. Book here.

From Sunday evening, everyone is invited to stay on for a week-long ritual celebration, collectively calling on the adhisthana of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to bless and support us in our dharma practice for the benefit of all beings. For more information and to book, see here.

Sometime in 2016 he came to see me at Padmaloka expressing his concerns about the various allegations made about Bhante, which I listened to sympathetically. It was a friendly conversation. Fellow Order Members

On 1st May I took on the role of Convenor of the International Council from Arthavadin, who held it for the last 4.5 years. A few days earlier he symbolically handed over the responsibility to me in a moving short ritual in Bhante’s lounge in Urgyen House. As part of that handover he passed on to me a mala that had belonged to Bhante, and I recited the verses of acceptance, lightly revised from our ordination vow by Mahamati.
