We at the Toowoomba Buddhist Centre in Australia celebrated Buddha Day not at the Centre but at the country property of one of our Mitras, Dale. Eleven of us, Order Members, Mitras and friends included 2 grandchildren, who enthusiastically participated in the story telling, chanting, puja and sheer wonder of it all. We watched the sun go down in the west over the plain and the moon come up over the hills and trees in the east, with just a little silver-edged cloud to enhance it – magical!
