Padmavajra, one of the Public Preceptors on the ordination team at Padmaloka, gives a talk on how to go for refuge in times of adversity, even in a time of fear.

Given the situation in the world today, with threat of sickness and great uncertainty, how do we practise as Buddhists? How do we continue to deepen our practice of loving kindness, of awareness? What is the real response to the situation we find ourselves in today?

The Preceptors’ College Chair Handover

The annual international meeting of the Preceptors’ College took place from the 4th to the 14th November, 2019. It was Saddhaloka’s final meeting as Chair after almost five years of service, and half-way through the meeting he handed over to Ratnadharini, the incoming Chair, marking the transition with a ritual and rejoicings. Here we capture the handover ceremony and extracts from interviews with Saddhaloka and Ratnadharini.
