Inspired by Sangharakshita’s poem “The Bodhisattva’s Reply”, Vajragupta outlines ways in which Western religious groups have historically approached engaged with social issues. Vajragupta suggests three ways in which we can work together to transform ourselves and so create a better world.
Today’s FBA Dharmabyte Vajrapani: The Power Aspect is an excerpt from “The Bodhisattva Hierarchy” by Sangharakshita. After a full explanation of the importance of being receptive to those more developed than ourselves, we are introduced to the ten stages (bhumis) of the Bodhisattva path and to the four principal types of Bodhisattva who embody this path. Here we meet: Vajrapani.
The month of December will be filled with the spirit, love and symbolism of Bodhisattva’s. We had our first meeting with Tara in Saturday’s podcast by Vajratara titled “Mindfulness: The Great Love”.
