Over the course of 2019 at PBC, we will be exploring the The Myth of the Path from different perspectives, both in our weekly Sunday program and in our week-night courses.

In this talk Padmavajra is introduced to the Croydon Sangha by Amarapuspa. Padmavajra explores the idea of freedom from polarization in an inspiring, wide ranging and very deeply Dharmic talk. He starts by remembering positive aspects of Croydon in the 1980's and then takes us on a journey through the vimokshas, the sangharavastus and the pratisamvids as we explore "a taste of freedom". This talk was given at the Croydon Buddhist Centre in January 2019 as part of our regular Saturday morning Sangha class.

Dear Order Members,

We are sad to inform you that Dharmapalita died around 9.30pm on the evening of 5 January at the age of 59 years. His sister was with him at the time.

He had been in hospital for the last few weeks with various complications resulting from his Pulmonary hypertension.

He had many visitors throughout his final days.

Dharmapalita was ordained in 2007. His private preceptor was Satyaraja and public preceptor Saddhaloka. He had a steady involvement with the Sheffield Buddhist Centre over the past fourteen years.
