The Parable of The Return Journey tells the story of a son who becomes separated from his father and descends into a life of crime and poverty. Meanwhile his father becomes incredibly wealthy, so much so that when they happen upon each other many years later, the son is unable to recognise his father and is terrified by his riches and king-like status. Bodhinaga will explore what happens next, with the son's incredible journey of transformation, asking 'what does this tell us about our own Dharma journey?'
In this series we are exploring the profound teachings of the White Lotus Sutra, presented through a combination of poetry, drama, parables and what can seem like cosmic science fiction, and the way these have the potential to free us to take our practice of the Dharma to a new level.
