I’m delighted to say that I’ve just received the paperwork accepting us for a grant to provide the new Colchester Buddhist Centre with a new 4kW solar panel system, which will probably offset our entire electricity use for the coming years. Along with the feed-in-tariff generated from the panels which will offset our gas bills, we will be almost entirely bill free. This will free up monies for other projects as well as meaning we are truly sustainable....
The second in a series of talks for Sangha Night on the Mandala of the Five Buddhas is a talk by Ratnaghosha on the golden yellow Buddha of the south, Ratnasambhava.
How can we acknowledge and find a more creative response to the fear that we experience, taking inspiration from the Buddha Amoghasiddhi. 15 members of the Exeter Sangha will be exploring this theme, through meditation, reflection and ritual at the beautiful East Down Centre on the edge of Dartmoor. Unfortunately the weekend is now fully booked but there will be further retreats in 2016.
I have received a letter of resignation from Karunagatu, who was ordained in June of 2014 at Guhyaloka. As his public preceptor, and after consultation with his private preceptor, Vajragupta, I have decided to accept his resignation. We wish him well in the future, and his resignation letter is provided below.

In spite of minimal funding and opposition from established media businesses, Lord Buddha TV has created a network that is “dedicated to the Life and teachings of Lord Buddha…and the life and mission of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.” The station offers news, Dharma teachings, music, information about atrocities, health...
