The Sutta That Never Was

In this two part presentation, Dhammavijaya firstly retells a moving story concerning a disciple of the Buddha. In the second part he differentiates between two classes of truth, before outlining the Triratna perspective on scriptural authority. Finally he dwells upon the meaning of the story as it has affected him, drawing particular attention to what the story tells us about Spiritual Friendship. This talk was given at the Croydon Buddhist Centre in 2017 as part of the regular Saturday morning Sangha meeting.
