Joyce Miller is a Theravadin Buddhist and Deputy Chair of the RE Council of England and Wales, following a long career as an RE teacher and RE adviser.
The conference was attended by nearly 30 Buddhists of various denominations.

In this imaginative and inspired talk Vaddhaka shares his own connection to the green Buddha of the north: Amoghasiddhi. He brings out the various qualities of Amoghasiddhi through stories; one on the Arthurian knight Gawain, as well as stories from Gauatma Buddha's life, as well as playing two pieces of music. The talk was part of our exploration of the Mandala the five Buddhas, male and female.
In this talk Dayanandi covers the third of the five stages of the spiritual path - the insight of selflessness. This talk explores the particular character and qualities of the third stage, showing how it evolves out of the previous one and is the foundation for later stages of the Path.
