Dear Order Members,

I am very pleased to announce that the following men will be ordained on a retreat held at Padmaloka between 14th and 28th of April. 

The public ordination ceremony will take place on Saturday 27th of April at 2.00pm.

The new Order Members will then travel directly from Padmaloka to Guhyaloka for the 10-week Retreat.

I am very sorry to have to announce the resignation of Dharmachari Upakarin. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and was ordained at Guhyaloka in 2001. His Private Preceptor was Kovida and I was his Public Preceptor.

I’ve had extensive correspondence with members of his local Sangha and other Order Members who know him and he has made it clear that he will stay in touch with friends despite resigning from the Order.

We are sad to let you know that Bill Hard, the ex-Achalavajra, died of pancreatic cancer last Saturday 23rd March after a recent diagnosis. He had been living for many years with his partner, Christine, in Tavistock, UK.
