I have recently received news that Amoghabandhu has recently died. I am Amoghabandhu’s private preceptor and I have very fond memories of him. He first came along to the Croydon centre in the 1980s and we made a good connection then. In 1998 I ordained him on the three-month Guhyaloka course, giving him his name and initiating him into the Amitabha Sadhana.

In late October, many friends of Bodhilila gathered – in London and around the world online – to rejoice, remember and appreciate our friend, teacher and former chair of the West London Buddhist Centre, who died on 30th September 2025.
