In commemoration of the second death anniversary of Urgyen Sangharakshita, Urgyen House is pleased to offer a new video blog. Dharmachari Paramartha recalls Bhante Sangharakshita’s final days and, from the video archive, Bhante recounts a remarkable event in Kalimpong, India.

Urgyen House is a project dedicated to ensuring the long-term preservation of Sangharakshita’s collection of books, letters, papers, thangkas and artefacts as well as the building in which he spent the last years of his life.

On Wednesday 26th August, Adhisthana will be celebrating the anniversary of Bhante Sangharakshita’s birthday, as will be happening throughout Triratna. I find it hard to believe that only two years ago Bhante was still alive and would have been enjoying the celebrations at Adhisthana – probably with a vegan coffee and walnut cake that he would share with all those around him.

It is also the day when the Triratna centres continue with the 108 Year Puja that happens every year. I...

On 30th Oct 19 Saddhamma Pradeep retreat center community had seven fold puja and meditation. Dh Ratnasambhava led meditation and puja. Dh Aryasambhava chant five mantra. Good experience of solidarity.
