On Tuesday 14 May, Padmavajra visited the Norwich Buddhist Centre on Sangha Night to launch the theme for the coming weeks: The Refuge Tree. He introduced the Triratna Tree of Refuge and Respect, beginning by evoking the central figure of the Tree, the Buddha, and the experience Going for Refuge for the early Sangha. He then goes onto describing the entire Tree and the Going for Refuge and Prostration practice. Evenings that followed included talks on Dhardo Rimpoche and Prajnaparamita, as well as practice evenings themed around the Buddha and White Tara.
