Abhayaratna Trust seeks Director
 
Founded in 2008, the Abhayaratna Trust supports Order members around the world who are experiencing financial hardship. Over nine years we have been helping an increasing number to maintain their Dharma practice and sangha connections, as well as assisting with urgent living costs. We expect this number to continue to grow in the coming years. 
 
Now we are looking for an Order member to enable the further development of the work of the Trust and lead the team in the effective pursuit of our objectives. This is an opportunity to play an important role in the life of the Triratna Buddhist Order.
 
Our Director will ideally work full-time, but hours are negotiable. We have no office, so you may work anywhere in the UK but you will need to be able to get to regular meetings of the Trust (usually in Birmingham). Support is needs-based and will be discussed in the context of the Abhayaratna Trust's ethos and budget limits.
 
The closing date for applications is 5pm Friday 27 October 2017. We hope to be able to interview shortlisted candidates in November with a view to making an appointment as soon as possible thereafter.
