The UK’s Buddhist Action Month (BAM) began yesterday, with Buddhist groups all over the UK - and even in Stockholm and Essen too - beginning a month of talks and activities celebrating Buddhist social action. The theme is the environment, but you can do anything that benefits others more generally beyond your Centre and sangha, inspired by the Dharma.

Some people are going vegan for a month, or changing their search engine to Ecosia http://www.ecosia.org, who plant trees with a proportion of their profits. Others are holding street cleanups, and public talks on sustainability. What are you and your Centre doing?
