Sub25s Day retreat: Saturday 18th April at the London Buddhist CentrePosted by Singhamati on Wed, 1 April, 2015 - 15:00
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Howard Thurman
Deafened by other people’s opinions, many of us find it hard to listen to our thoughts, needs and values. During this day we will explore some of the tools and advice Buddhism has to offer to help us become more alive to our own experience, through a combination of meditation, personal talks and group discussion.
The day retreat will start at 11am and finish by 6pm. Please bring some vegetarian food to share for lunch. There is no charge for the day, but donations are appreciated. To help us plan the day it would be helpful to have an idea of numbers, so please email youngtriratna [at] gmail.com if you are coming.
Venue: London Buddhist Centre 51 Roman Road, London,E2. For details on how to find us go to: http://www.lbc.org.uk
