The brand new 'Life with Full Attention' app is here! 📱On Wed, 13 December, 2023 - 11:00
This app is intended to accompany the book’s popular eight-week mindfulness course designed to embue your life with purpose and presence.
In today’s hectic world full of distractions and stress, living mindfully is more important than ever for health and happiness. With Maitreyabandhu’s 30-plus years experience guiding meditation, this app makes his wisdom readily available. It could be particularly helpful to those of us including ‘being more mindful’ on our list of New Year’s resolutions.
Each week explores an impactful aspect of mindfulness through an introduction, home practice excercises, meditation, and poem. Themes range from ‘day-to-day’ mindfulness to advanced teachings about reality itself. It is a gradual training in the art of attention - no need to rush or delve deeply into metaphysics!
While based on Buddhist principles, this is a universal course that anyone with an open and curious mind can engage in. All you need is a willingness to learn and put these practices into action.
This app is designed to support you as you work through the book Life with Full Attention by Maitreyabandhu, as well as live courses offered at local Triratna Buddhist centres. While the app provides an introduction to mindfulness practices, it works best in tandem with the more extensive teachings within the book or an in-person course.
