On Saturday there will be another cultural event at the WLBC.
The Aryaloka String Quartet has come over from the States to do a series of concerts in the UK. They will be playing works by Bach, Bartok, Mendelssohn and Pärt.

We’re still in the process of snagging after moving into our new premises. Today the LED strips went up illuminating the veil. Several items are ordered and still need to be delivered: a big yellow pouffe, a rug, side tables for reception, shelving for the library, papercut hangings behind the Buddha, golden drapes in large shrine room, boxes as base for shrine, glass panel in floor...

The first Saturday drop-in class at the new centre went really well. Lots of people and finally enough space to accommodate them all.

We bought this rupa at an online auction yesterday.
It’s for the smaller of the two shrine rooms in our new Buddhist centre.
We’re hoping to move mid December. By next week all the walls will be up in the new space. It is an exciting time for all of us who work at the centre and visit it.
