Online Meditation Retreat 23-29 January 2022
with Paramananda and Bodhilila
‘Imagine a sky, empty, spacious and pure from the beginning; the essence of the nature of mind is like this. Imagine a sun, luminous, clear, unobstructed, and spontaneously present; the nature of mind is like this. Imagine that sun shining out impartially on us and all things, penetrating all directions; the energy of mind, which is the manifestation of compassion, is like this; nothing can obstruct it and it pervades everywhere.’
from Tibetan Book of Living and Dying by Sogyal Rimpoche
While dealing with the challenges in our lives amidst a world in constant crisis, it can be hard not be overwhelmed and to react by withdrawing from engaging with the world. Yet we are all connected through our bodies, hearts and minds to the earth that sustains us and the other living beings we share it with. We are all connected through our hearts to the 'anima mundi' or soul of the world. We can all participate in ‘big mind’ when we move beyond our habitual ‘small mind’ through cultivating a more receptive heart/mind which is open to both what is most intimate and most universal within us.
Join Paramananda and Bodhilila on this online meditation retreat as we explore how we can remain embodied in our practice and engage with the world, with roots in the earth and the sky.
