A joyous day at Adhisthana

It’s been a fantastic day here at Adhisthana and I feel absolutely spoilt. I have to admit I’m a bit tired now and I’m still struggling with the wifi - but here is a little post to get a feel for the day….

The atmosphere has been unbelievably positive. I’m sure that’s down to the depth and breadth of the threads of friendship that criss-cross through the people around me. Meditating together, nipping out to the shops with Akasajoti for croissants to bake for breakfast, listening to different talks and conversations on the programme, Bhante’s surprise visit, a swim in the swales, delicious food, puja - everything has been a real delight.

Having lived here for five months last year on the women’s Dharma Life Course, every time I come to Adhisthana I relax, reconnect with my vision, inspiration and leave feeling refreshed.  Home to our teacher, Bhante Sangharakshita, and a hive of activity of the Order and Movement, it has a special place in many of our hearts. Being here for the 50th Celebrations is an incredibly privileged thing to do.

More to come…..
