I am very happy to announce the public ordination of the former Cathy Williams from Gloucestershire at Taraloka on 9th June.

Cathy becomes Maitrisuri : accute accent on s, macron on 2nd & 3rd i & u. 

A Sanskrit name meaning Heroine of Loving Kindness.

Resistered spelling: Maitrishuri

Monkey Mind and the Heart’s Release: A Taraloka on-line Meditation Retreat for Women Order Members and Experienced Mitras (with at least 3 years regular meditation practice)

How can we tame our monkey minds with love?  This is a great opportunity to bring our daily-life practice with us on retreat. We’ll take a good look at how the crafty mind creates its own obstacles. Then we’ll use metta, build a sense of solidarity and connection, and learn to understand our most authentic heart’s desires, to release them.
