I already felt lucky to be in this community during the ups and downs of the last year or so, and now some very generous friends have given me a holiday in Kauai - leaving tomorrow, back next Tuesday. I can’t tell you how great it feels to be looking forward to something like this.

I wanted to make sure you all have the poems from Suvarnaprabha’s funeral - so I’ve copied them below.

Posted by dayamudra on Wed, 25 Sep, 2013 - 14:20What a beautiful afternoon into night, all of us gathered around Suvarnaprabha’s bed, saying our goodbyes, singing ‘We Are The Champions’ at the top of our lungs. Meditated and chanted and remembered her down in the shrine room. Footsteps in the rooms above moving her body out of the space where there has been so much love. The golden light was palpable. This is why we are practicing. We all will die. Tomorrow we will meditate on the half hour...
