Subhuti, a leading member of the Preceptors’ College, spends much of his time in India. His winter 2014/15 visit lasted 85 days, including 12 retreats, and covered over 3000 miles. It began at Bhaja, Maharashtra and concluded at the place of the Buddha’s Enlightenment.
Karunadevi talks about her involvement in Triratna in the very early days of the Movement in the USA. Karunadevi established Triratna in the Bay Area of Califronia and, along with Saramati, was the first American to be ordained in the USA. She is also currently the only public preceptor living in the USA.
Nagabodhi has worked with her over many years in his role as a public preceptor for the men in the USA.
