Simplify To Sustain: The Radical Buddhist Approach to Living Happy in Post-Plenty America ::: Family

Friends’ Night | Wednesday, July 15, 7-9 pm

Family relationships, for most of us, are amongst the most important and enduring of our lives - for better or worse! This week we’ll be continuing our look at how to move towards a happy, simple, and sustainable way to live by considering family in a surprising light - that of being alone.

It may seem odd at first, but if we know how to be truly self-contained and comfortable in our own skin then all our relationships will likely go better. We’ll be exploring this as an idea and in practice, building our “micro-community” of inquiry as we consider in a spirit of kindness how to cultivate a deep sense of interdependence with others - standing strong and free yet deeply in positive relationship.
Join us for meditation, friendship, and discussion.
Offered by donation, $10-5 suggested, all are welcome.
