Join us for a special evening with Parami, one of the seniormost Order members in the Triratna Buddhist Community. She’ll be talking about the six distinctive ways our community approaches the ancient teaching of the Buddha as we work together to translate it for anyone living in today’s world.

Parami is a wise and humorous teacher, devoted and irreverent, extrovert and thoughtful - a unique and inspiring guide with a lovely Scottish accent! Parami has a couple of official roles in the Triratna Buddhist Order: she is one of our two international Order Convenors, helping promote harmony amongst Order members everywhere; and she is also a Public Preceptor, holding responsibility for all ordinations around the world. She manages to carry out both these roles in the most personable way imaginable - we think you’ll enjoy hearing her take on things!

Come along Wednesday evening 6.30-9pm (talk at 8pm) for what’s sure to be a deeply engaging look at leading a spiritual life in the 21st century.

This evening is offered by donation (suggested $10/$5 unwaged).
