This Sunday, 10AM - 12:30 PM, Dh. Rijupatha will lead us off on a new topic: What is the Good Life? Seeing Past Materialism, Inequality and the Cult of Fashion.  In this series, we will explore some of the most transformational Buddhist meditations - the Brahma Viharas, or “divine abodes.”  The Metta Bhavana, or cultivation of loving kindness is the basis. There is also the Karuna Bhavana, cultivation of compassion, the Mudita Bhavana, cultivation of sympathetic joy, and the Upekkha Bhavana, cultivation of equanimity. Kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity – these are the mind states that can help us work creatively with the challenging conditions of our 21-st-century cultural environment and align our lives with our highest aspirations. Join us as we learn how to work toward them.

This is our regular community gathering and all are welcome, regardless of experience.  Offered by donation: $10 - $5 suggested.
