Although the Buddha lived in India more than 2,500 years ago, his teachings on ethics, meditation and wisdom can seem as relevant and powerful as ever in our 21st-century global society. But don’t take our word for it. Come and try it out for yourself. Join Dh. Narottama and other members of the Portsmouth Buddhist Center community and explore some age-old practices for calming the mind and developing a kinder, more generous attitude toward yourself and other living beings.  The course will include an introduction to the two most basic Buddhist meditation practices, Mindfulness of Breathing (Anapanasati) and the Cultivation of Loving Kindness (Metta Bhavana).

Offered by donation: $60-$30 suggested for the full course. Donate by credit card here, or by check or cash in class.  Free registration here to ensure a place.
