Introduction to Buddhism
Are you curious about Buddhism? Who is the Buddha? What are his essential teachings?
Narottama will be leading an Introduction to Buddhism workshop on Saturday, March 2nd, from 10 - 3 pm.
Exploring from both a philosophical and practical perspective, our aim will be to understand his teachings as they are, and to look at how they work as a system of personal development.

Led by Narottama, from his first retreat at Aryaloka in 1993 to his ordination in Spain in 2007 to the present day, the Buddha's teachings have guided and provided a positive framework for personal transformation way beyond anything he might have thought possible. The Buddha, and his teachings applied to the 21st century, have allowed this farmer from Maine to be grateful for each moment.
