We are pleased to welcome two visitors from London next month - Kamalashila and Yashobodhi will be offering several retreats and practice opportunities around the region. The theme of their visit is “The Heart of the Path: Bodhicitta.” If you have an opportunity to meet and practice with these two, we highly recommend doing so!

Kamalashila is a senior disciple of Urgyen Sangharakshita. He enjoys communicating Buddhism, meditation and mindfulness, has founded Dharma centres in London and Wales, written a best selling book on meditation, and lived four years in Wales as a hermit. A short biography can be found on Kamalashila’s blog, dharmadoor.org.

At her ordination in 2005, Yashobodhi was active in the Amsterdam Buddhist Centre where she wrote two books on Buddhism and edited a Dutch Buddhist magazine. She is a lively and inspired dharma teacher with a special love for the perfection of wisdom. She currently teaches at the West London Buddhist Centre where she is the women’s mitra convenor. For more about Yashobodhi, see her bio on the WLBC webpage.
