We did it! We successfully moved the center to 84 Pleasant Street this weekend and will be holding Sangha Night in our new location this Wednesday, September 18th, 7 pm. Doors will be open by 6.45 pm - come see the new shrine and gathering place!

Suddhayu will lead a dedication ceremony to purify the space followed by a presentation and discussion on the Ādittapariyāya Sutta, translated as The Fire Sermon. This is a discourse from the Pali Canon where the Buddha preaches about achieving liberation from suffering through detachment from the five senses and mind.

84 Pleasant Street is located where the Green Monkey was - we are sad to see them go! The door will be open at street level, come up the set of stairs to the first door on the left to enter the new Portsmouth Buddhist Center.
