Shortly after the Buddha’s Enlightenment he had a vision that all of humanity in varying degrees had the potential to benefit from his Awakened experience. He went forth to communicate these basic Buddhist teachings of kindness and compassion.

This week for Sangha night we will imagine ourselves in the presence of the Buddha as he delivers his First Teaching. We will explore the nature of that teaching and how it relates to our lives today.
