July’s meeting of the European Chairs’ Assembly at Adhisthana saw the launch of a new environmental initiative for Triratna worldwide.

The Triratna Sustainable Buddhist Centre Project isn’t just a good idea! It comes complete with a practical Centre Certification Scheme devised by Amalaketu. He’s Chair of the Colchester Buddhist Centre, UK and a specialist in energy efficiency.

The aim of the scheme is to champion sustainability across Triratna and to support Buddhist centres to exemplify Buddhist ethics in their consideration of environmental issues.

In this 10-minute video, Guhyapati from the Ecodharma Centre in Spain interviews Amalaketu about the project and how members of the Triratna sangha can get involved.
