Jill Vernon of the West Midlands Sangha, UK, was publicly ordained at Adhisthana on Monday 25th August.

She becomes Moksapuspa (dots under each ’s’ and long final ‘a’), which means in Sanskrit ‘She who is a flower of liberation’. The westernised spelling is Mokshapushpa. Her private preceptor was Suchitta and her public preceptor Parami.

The ordination took place on the first day of the Women’s European Order Convention, following a small private ordination retreat at Taraloka. The public ordination was also attended by family and friends of Mokshapushpa.
