The Buddhist Centre Online has been asked to publish this missing person announcement for a man whose mother is dying.
“I am sending this email in the hope that you may be able to help in the tracing of my nephew Edward Dallas who went missing from Paisley, Scotland in March 2010.
Edward once worked voluntarily at Samye Ling in Scotland around 2008 and was very interested in Buddhist culture. I believe this is the path Edward may have followed. He may even have been ordained as a monk.
Edward will now be 43 years of age. He is a quiet spoken man with a very kind nature. I have been trying to find him for the last 4 years now, without success. His family are very concerned for his well being and he is missed greatly.
Sadly time is now of the essence as his mum is terminally ill and her heart aches to know that her eldest son is alive and well and to see him again before time runs out.
I would greatly appreciate any help or information that you are able to provide. I have attached a photo below of Edward before his disappearance although he may have changed his appearance since then.”
