Mindfulness of Breathing

BETA PREVIEW: WE'RE STILL WORKING ON THIS PAGE. THE TEXT IS UNEDITED (BUT STILL HELPFUL). WE'LL BE ADDING MORE MEDIA SOON. SEE OUR ROADMAP. 🙏

The Buddha taught the mindfulness of breathing as a basic practice, but said it could take you all the way to Enlightenment.

The version of the practice we teach in Triratna centres includes the open, receptive awareness of general mindfulness practice, while its four stages include a number of elements that can help us work with the mind’s tendency to get caught up in thoughts and become distracted.
